I'm a tutor based in Tampa, Florida, who is certified to teach students art from grades K - 12 and English from grades 6 - 12. Currently, I'm working with students in a hybrid online learning program, which was established for those students who haven't found success in a regular educational environment. I also work as a tutor for adults at a local technical college. Here, I cover a diverse range of subjects like math, reading, and language. I also help students prepare to take standardized exams. Lastly, I have experience working with special needs children as my own youngest child was born with Down Syndrome. I truly understand that every child learns differently, and I incorporate that fact into my teaching style. I am passionate about teaching kids, and I transfer that passion for learning to my students. Through targeted lesson plans and consistent practice, I know that no matter what your challenges are in the classroom, we can overcome them together. When I'm not in classroom I love spending time with my family, making art, and playing music.
