My aim was to make the most of college, being from a small town in Tennessee, and now I want to help others do the same now as a tutor. I want to help people work to achieve their dreams. A background in English and degree in creative writing from Murray State University prepared me to help students write papers and edit them, work on their English, and build their study skills. I also help with time management, organization, APA and MLA style writing, and ACT English. My linguistics knowledge is very strong so I am great with grammar.I have worked one on one with students on campus and helped a first grader with homework and studying as a Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer. Currently, I am working on my English master's degree and focusing on the TESOL exam. I've come a long way as I once thought I would never get to see the world beyond my home state. My journeys have taken me to Clermont, Florida. In my spare time, I enjoy crafts such as sewing and crocheting but, if not working with yarn or fabric, you'll find me writing poetry or short stories or playing video games.
